icon_catitem.pngCatalog / Item Acquisition

To run a world-class drop shipping operation that scales with small, medium and large suppliers, you may need a platform that enables you to on board suppliers quickly and pass along required item fields to your master inventory database. We allow multiple ways for suppliers to exchange a wealth of item fields, including media files, UPC code and shipping locations.   We even provide filtering so you can choose what data you want to send to your other systems, and suppliers can provide you with exclusive catalog data and pricing.

It is imperative for retailers to get accurate and timely inventory levels. Suppliers that have to use EDI VANs, resist sending timely updates because of the data costs.  With the Dsco Platform, every supplier can push inventory from manual methods to using EDI or web services at no cost to them, making it easier for them to keep inventory levels updated. In addition, Retailers can set auto decrementing by supplier to safe guard over selling as well as get alerts on low inventory levels for skus.

icon_shipping.pngOrders & Shipment

Consumers expect a fluid buying experience, including the timely delivery of packages. To that end, retailers and suppliers MUST work together as collaborative partners on drop ship orders. We allow retailers to route POs to suppliers on a set schedule and have complete visibility into the order fulfillment lifecycle.  Suppliers can get POs by a variety of methods/protocols helping them keep acknowledgement and fill rates at retailer’s benchmarks. Alerts and notifications also help remind suppliers of POs needing attention.

icon_invoice.pngInvoice data

Invoicing is a critical business process that Dsco manages seamlessly. Suppliers are able to create and forward invoices once shipments have been sent, and retailers can accept the invoice into accounting and ERP systems for easy processing via one of our many integration methods & protocols. Within our portal, our invoice object pre populates invoice from the PO and includes drop down choices to add additional terms and other related fields. Dsco can customize, by retailer, what terms suppliers see; and soon we will be able to customize by supplier category or line item.

icon_dashboard.pngDashboard & Analytics

A successful drop shipping operation requires the collaboration between both retailers and suppliers. Dsco Platform enables this collaboratin through both a Dashboard tab and an Analytics tab.  With The Dashboard Tab, retailers can see an operational overview, onboarding proceess and any issues needing attention.  Analytics provides performance overview so both trading partners can see how they are doing with key metrics including: Sales orders over time, Order Fill Rate, Order Cancel Rate, Order Acknowledge times, Order Ship times.

icon_dataexchange.pngData Exchange & Logging

You and your suppliers can take advantage of our Developer Tools to get data in and out of our platform in whatever method you desire as well as take utilize a mapping tool to handle data translation for files coming in or going out.  In addition, we have a robust Logging & History interface so you can review or trouble shoot every change to Item, Inventory, POs, Shipments and Invoices. Notification are for providing Performance SLA and Platform Alerts.  Our notification system keeps you up-to-date on the most pressing matters within the platform. The underlying philosophy is not only to expose issues with supply chain, but to also make it easy to act on the information. For example, late shipment alerts tell you those suppliers who are not meeting your SLA requirements, and system alerts inform you of new features and enhancements.

It's Easy to Move.

Stuck In Long term Contracts?

That’s ok, most long-term contracts leave you room to move new suppliers to us, so you can do this in parallel.

Supplier Migration

We can create common templates or create a mapping to your templates, so suppliers just have to point their files to a new location.
